Garden centers and plant nurseries sell annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees, vegetables and houseplants, along with soil, mulch, fertilizer, pots and tools. Independent nurseries often grow part of their own stock and carry varieties that do well in the local climate, while big-box garden departments compete on price for common plants. Wholesale nurseries and growers sell to landscapers and sometimes to the public at volume prices; tree nurseries sell balled-and-burlapped and container trees and can deliver and plant large specimens. Specialty growers focus on bonsai, cactus and succulents, orchids or native plants, and hydroponics stores sell lights, nutrients and systems for growing indoors.

Chino is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Chino follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I would not recommend Eastern Leaf based on my experience. We placed an order for 75 trees to be used as centerpieces for our wedding on July 12 and specifically requested a delivery date of July 10—the date the website allowed us to select during checkout. The only communication we received afterward was an email stating that the trees would actually arrive about 10 days earlier. When my partner called to ask why our requested delivery date wasn’t being honored, he was given explanations about shipping policies that were never disclosed on the website before we placed the order. If you’re asking customers to choose a delivery date, it should mean something. Expecting someone to care for 75 live trees for an extra 10 days before a wedding is completely unreasonable. What made the situation even worse was the customer service. Instead of listening to our concerns or trying to find a reasonable solution—such as delaying the shipment by a few days—we were met with poor communication and no real answers. After the conversation became frustrating, their solution was to cancel and refund the order without our authorization. At no point did we ask for the order to be canceled. We were

I would give negative stars if I could. I purchased a tree for my husband’s a gift. It arrived packaged well but the tree didn’t look great when it arrived. The leaves looked dried out and almost dying. Within days the leaves also turned yellow and started falling off. Knowing that the company boasts an easy warranty program I emailed them with photos right away. I didn’t get a reply after a day or so, so I called and I was told I needed to wait for a botanist to call me back but that because I logged the problem with an email I would be covered. I didn’t eventually get a reply that outlined a course of care for the next few months to nurse this tree back to health. I figured why not so o followed the care. Unfortunately nothing changed. When I reached back out to try to get a replacement tree (or a refund) I was told it was past the 30 day warranty period. It’s a bit sneaky to me to give a course of care that takes longer than 30 days then deny warranty- I wasn’t told this! Contrary I was told that as long as I notified within the 30 days (which I did) I would be covered. I now have a dead tree that was half dead when I got it, that I paid over $100 for, and they will

I received a gift certificate for my BDay for $300. Yes I'm special. I contacted customer service to inquire about how to use it because it's online but I'm local and wanted to pick my tree. Unfortunately I was informed that if I used the gift at the nursery I had to use the whole thing. That's why it's 4 stars not 5. I got 4 trees one of which was a blue atlas that I'm very happy with and looking forward to years of enjoyment. I also picked up a juniper and olive tree that are also nice and healthy. I recommend them highly but do recommend that you shop in person so you will get what you want. The guy who helped me was very helpful and new his trees.

I had no idea this is what what foliage of a ‘healthy’ bonsai in normal ‘leaf rotation’ looked like! Thanks for sending a dead and diseased plant! It’s going to make a great $120 Christmas gift that your company has refused to refund! CHECK OUT THE LEAVES OF EASTERN LEAF! It’s possibly time to take a cue from the plentiful 1 star reviews, and do right by your customers. Complaining that people post negative reviews on multiple platforms is completely futile, when you’ve been essentially scamming your online customer base. It is obvious you have a lovely brick and mortar, with plants that actually look healthy, to display and sell in person. I’ve surmised this place must get their bonsais shipped from overseas, and ship out the poor quality ones as fast as they can, followed up by customer service emails that are insulting to intelligence. I could go on, but the leaves speak for themselves. Pretty big bummer when you sell to someone who has microscopes on hand. :)

DON'T BUY ONLINE!!!! Save yourself time, money and hassle. I wish I had read these reviews before I purchased the Red Orchid Lucky Bamboo arrangement from Eastern Leaf online. The plant I received is the worst-looking Bamboo I have ever seen. Nothing like the green in their web photos. Leaves are light-colored with streaks of yellow and are somewhat dry. Most of the stalks are almost white. Several leaves are crumpled and damaged. I contacted Eastern Leaf the day I received my plant. Their customer service is horrible!!! They do not honor their 7- or 30-day guarantee. They claimed the bamboo I got was a "younger" batch and would get greener. I never heard of that! Its a few weeks later, I have used the Green Plant food recommended, and nothing has changed. I asked them to replace the stalks. They refused. I could ship the plant back but I would have to PAY SHIPPING! THAT IS HALF THE COST OF THE PLANT. I payed $59 for the worst Bamboo I have ever seen. You'll do better at Lowe's, Home Depot or your local grocer!! First and last time I buy a plant online! DON'T DO IT!!! (Photo on left is their website photo.)
